Romper suit in different sizes and colours

wearable all year round

full-length zipper

soft and comfortable

The long-sleeved romper suit with its simple design is timeless and suits both girls and boys . Equipped with a zipper on the front, it makes it easier to put on and take off. The booties cannot be kicked off like socks. This means that baby feet always stay warm.

What are the advantages of a merino wool romper suit?

The romper suit with feet is made of pure merino wool and is the right choice for every baby and toddler. It is especially important for the little ones to choose a suitable, skin-friendly baby romper suit. Baby skin is sensitive and reacts quickly to the wrong material. This is why WOOLREX rompers are made of high-quality merino wool, without any other fabric additives. This means that the natural properties of merino wool, namely temperature-balancing and moisture-regulating, come into their own . This is why a romper suit made of merino wool can be worn all year round.

The fabric also allows for an optimal fit, meaning the footed romper can be used for a longer period of time, even as the baby gradually grows. Elasticity is also important for use with diapers that require additional volume.

Why is a romper suit with feet useful?

The romper suit with feet is particularly popular as pajamas. The footies are tight-fitting socks. Unlike normal socks, however, these cannot be kicked off at night and are therefore left exposed. This is particularly important for babies, as the greatest heat loss occurs through the head and feet. This means that warm feet are always guaranteed.

This is especially true for very active children. The romper suit with feet has the advantage that the socks always stay on and cannot get lost.

When should a romper suit be worn?

A romper can be seen as a playsuit and pajamas. The one-piece combines the top and bottom. This means that the child is always well dressed and has enough freedom of movement. When crawling around, nothing can slip out or reveal bare skin. This means that the child is always well protected. The romper also has no places that could squeeze or pinch the child.

The same benefits apply at night.

What do you wear under the romper suit?

In principle, the romper suit made of pure merino wool can be worn on bare skin. The fine-fiber merino wool used in WOOLREX products does not cause a scratchy or itchy feeling on the skin. On the contrary, scientific studies have shown that merino wool has a positive effect on skin health.

In very cold weather, a bodysuit can also be worn under the footed romper. Here, too, it is recommended to choose a bodysuit made of 100% merino wool in order to take advantage of the natural properties of the wool material. It prevents sweating and the associated moisture on the skin.

material specifications

Our products are always made from 100% merino wool.

If they are equipped with buttons or zippers, these are nickel-free fasteners specially developed for babies by the renowned manufacturer YKK.

Mulesing-free merino wool

Our products should be worn with a clear conscience and joy. That's why we only source and process mulesing-free raw wool. We have this bindingly confirmed by our suppliers.

General care instructions

Pure merino wool products do not need to be washed often. A simple airing out is usually sufficient.

If washing is necessary, this can be done either by hand or in the machine at up to 40 degrees.

For machine washing, the spin speed should not exceed 60 revolutions. Select the delicate, hand wash or wool wash program.

When washing, close all zips to prevent the wool from pulling threads. In addition, a laundry net should be used to protect the laundry.

Please use a special detergent for wool (e.g. Perwoll ) or a shampoo as detergent. Do not add hygiene or fabric softener when washing. Even special detergents for babies (e.g. Filetti Sensitive) are not suitable for merino wool!

When washing by hand, it is important to ensure that the item of laundry is neither vigorously scrubbed nor wrung.
