The maritime striped look is a fresh design classic that is not often worn by boys. Made from 100% pure merino wool, it keeps you pleasantly cool or cosy and warm, depending on the season.
The smooth, all-round zipper gives the child freedom of movement and the independence to get out of bed.
Why sleeping bag instead of duvet?
From the first year of life, many parents try to switch their children to a duvet. This is basically possible, as the risk of suffocation, as is the case with babies, is no longer acute. However, many children still feel safer and more comfortable in a sleeping bag. Accordingly, they sleep more peacefully and better in it. The advantage of a sleeping bag over a duvet is that you cannot accidentally cover yourself. This protects restless sleepers in particular from getting cold and catching a cold.
The sleeping bag for toddlers is also practical when travelling. It creates a familiar sleeping environment for your child, which ensures a peaceful sleep.
Can the striped sleeping bag also be worn like a nightgown?
Thanks to the two-way zipper, the sleeping bag can be opened as desired. It can therefore be worn like a nightgown or tunic. This is particularly practical because the child can get ready for the night without having to go straight to bed; they can also walk around in the sleeping bag.
Therefore, the striped sleeping bag for toddlers is also a good compromise solution to gradually get the child used to the duvet and to slowly transition.
What should you wear under your sleeping bag?
The striped sleeping bag is made of high-quality, fine merino wool. Therefore, it can be worn directly on bare skin. Since it is sleeveless, we recommend wearing a long-sleeved merino shirt under the sleeping bag in the cooler seasons.

General care instructions
General care instructions
Pure merino wool products do not need to be washed often. A simple airing out is usually sufficient.
If washing is necessary, this can be done either by hand or in the machine at up to 40 degrees.
For machine washing, the spin speed should not exceed 60 revolutions. Select the delicate, hand wash or wool wash program.
When washing, close all zips to prevent the wool from pulling threads. In addition, a laundry net should be used to protect the laundry.
Please use a special detergent for wool (e.g. Perwoll ) or a shampoo as detergent. Do not add hygiene or fabric softener when washing. Even special detergents for babies (e.g. Filetti Sensitive) are not suitable for merino wool!
When washing by hand, it is important to ensure that the item of laundry is neither vigorously scrubbed nor wrung.
