Why should a baby blanket be made of merino wool?
Merino wool is particularly well-suited for products that come into direct contact with the skin. This baby blanket, made from pure Australian merino wool, provides warmth in cold weather and a pleasant cooling effect in warm weather. The fine-fibered material is lightweight, soft, and very gentle on the skin.
The certified merino wool has a temperature-balancing, moisture-regulating effect and is naturally antibacterial.
What is a baby blanket used for?
A baby blanket is versatile: it can be used as a cover in bed or in the stroller and, thanks to its light weight, can easily be taken anywhere.
The baby can be quickly wrapped in the blanket to protect it from wind and cold. In summer, the blanket is also suitable as a sunshade over the stroller, as the breathable material allows sufficient air circulation.
In addition, the baby blanket serves as a soft surface for crawling, playing, or diaper changes – at home, in kindergarten, or outdoors. Dirt is no problem, as the blanket can be machine washed at 40 degrees.
Many babies also use their blanket as a cuddly blanket and constant companion. The soft, non-scratchy merino wool feels pleasant against the skin and is also well-suited for sensitive children.
The use of 100% pure, fine-fiber merino wool virtually eliminates the risk of skin irritation or allergies.
How do you wrap a baby in a blanket?
Place the blanket in front of you with one corner pointing upwards. Fold this corner down to approximately the length of the child's back, creating a triangle. Place your baby in the center of the folded triangle, ensuring their neck is aligned with the top edge.
First, cover the baby with the left side of the blanket, then fold the bottom edge up, and finally close it with the right side. This way, your child is safely, warmly, and snugly wrapped.
